Dry roast Sanmati Shingada Pith in a kadhai on low flame for 5–6 minutes until aromatic. Set aside.

In the same kadhai, heat ghee and add the roasted shingada pith. Roast on low flame for 8–10 minutes, stirring constantly.

In a separate pan, boil water and sugar to make a thin syrup. Add cardamom.

Gradually add the sugar syrup to the roasting pith, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Keep stirring on low flame until the halwa thickens and leaves the sides of the pan. Garnish with nuts and serve warm.

- Roast the shingada pith well for a nutty, rich flavor.
