Method
- 1
In a bowl, add Sanmati Gulab Jamun Mix and gradually knead into a soft, smooth dough using milk. Rest for 5 minutes.
- 2
Divide into small equal balls, ensuring no cracks on the surface.
- 3
In a deep pan, heat oil or ghee on low-medium flame.
- 4
Fry jamun balls gently, stirring continuously, until golden brown.
- 5
Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup by boiling water, sugar, cardamom, and saffron for 8–10 minutes until slightly sticky. Add rose water and mix.
- 6
Soak fried jamuns in warm syrup for at least 1–2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Fry jamuns on low-medium heat to ensure they cook inside properly.
- Dough should be soft and crack-free for smooth jamuns.
- Soak in warm syrup, not hot, for perfect absorption.
