Method

  1. 1

In a bowl, add Sanmati Gulab Jamun Mix and gradually knead into a soft, smooth dough using milk. Rest for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

Divide into small equal balls, ensuring no cracks on the surface.

  3. 3

In a deep pan, heat oil or ghee on low-medium flame.

  4. 4

Fry jamun balls gently, stirring continuously, until golden brown.

  5. 5

Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup by boiling water, sugar, cardamom, and saffron for 8–10 minutes until slightly sticky. Add rose water and mix.

  6. 6

Soak fried jamuns in warm syrup for at least 1–2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Fry jamuns on low-medium heat to ensure they cook inside properly.
  • Dough should be soft and crack-free for smooth jamuns.
  • Soak in warm syrup, not hot, for perfect absorption.
